Kardamyla is a large village on the north-northeast Chios, a road distance of 27 km from the town of Chios. Previously the term "Kardamyla" meant both the 'Ano Kardamyla, located at some distance from the sea and the coastal settlement-seaport, Marmaro and the smaller Rahi village.
